What Was Your Last Car?

Just wondering what car people had before owning their MR2.

I had a Peugeot 106 GTI, to be fair it was a decent car with great handling, probably as quick as the MR2 up to about 70mph due to it's lightness. After that I was just gonna buy a cheap runabout until I finished my uni course but then I noticed how cheap MR2's were so I bought this one. Couldn't believe the difference in build quality. Took a while getting used to RWD and mid-engine layout but now I love it :)

Toyota Carina E 1.6. It was my dads car before he bought an A4 recently ( ), anyway I loved it, it had the 4A-FE engine, superb throttle response and the most economic car I've ever seen! I miss it a lot tbh but hey i got an mr2 turbo now! :D

I had a Fiesta Turbo before the GTI, was quick but it gave me loads of hassle. Broke down 4 times in the 6 months I owned it :(
