Amazon - Help Please!

Greetings I am an interloper from the Isuzu Trooper owners club. I have a 3.0 D auto Troop and have been advised to go for an Amazon. My critisism seems to be that the only time you see them on the telly, they are on fire after somebody has fired a missile at them - Is this a common fault? Seriously though, I tow a horsebox and am thinking of buying a 4.2d Auto Amazon, it will be my daily driver and there will be a mixture of motorway and rural driving. What should I look out for, are there any major gremlins and what is the fuel consumption like? - I get 28 mpg out of the Troop. Please help Many thanks in anticipation David
