why dont they put some time and effort into building a top notch sports car again?? ok so got the celica 190 here but thats about it in ways of performance and sports car looks all tied into one!

Did you know that the Celica 190 is only 0.1 seconds quicker to 60mph than the auto 4.2 litre petrol Land Cruiser? TBH I'm not sure if that says more about the LC or the Celica! Our MD has a petrol LC and it goes like a bat out of hell - our MD has one and I've driven it a few times!

toyota still continue to focus on building cars orientated around MPG, city driving and things like that!

its a big deal for a lot of people mate.

high petrol prices (and getting higher and higher in the US, a HUGE marketplace) means that an awful lot of people are worrying about being able to afford to run a car.

Certainly in the states, people are ditching their 48.3 ltr V28's that produce 113 bhp, because they can no longer afford to put gas in them!

Very true. What I'd really like though is a fast diesel coupe! Speed, sporty looks and a degree of practicality.

Wish I could have gone to that Aygo preview... <_<

Awful styling at the back. What's with the silly rear corners?

The thing about most Toyotas is that they look great from the front and corner. But the rears seem to have been designed by a seperate company or something.

But this particular car is awful.
