Ok so if not a Supra but a Celica then go for (if u can find a goodun) a CELICA GT4 Gen 6.

Awesome car as no doubt you will hear some testimonies on here to that effect

Its all about the MR2 Turbo mate!!

They are simply awesome (just bought a minter). Try Bell direct for a really good quote on an import..... they were £700 cheaper than anyone else for me!!

MR2 Turbo matey.. have you considered one?

What do you want from the car? the MR2 has RWD mid engine layout where as the GT4 is 4WD...

Also the MR2 is faster and more 'fun' but the GT4 drives like its on rails and the grip levels are awesome round the twisties...

What you after exactly as the Supra TT and the GT4 are totally different beasts in their own right..

The MR2 Turbo is closer to the Supra than the GT4 in terms of the RWD turbo..

I agree.

The MR2 is the most authentic sports car in the lineup.

However, it's not a real practical daily driver, so you have that to consider.

Well... I meant practical in terms of carrying passengers and cargo. If that's not a requirement for him then I am 110% for the Mister 2.

well i do love mr2s aswell, but id really love a supra tt! mr2s are i a bit impractical for me,i want sumthing thats practical, fast,it has to be a smooth ride and has to look the part.thats where the supra comes in!i dunno much about 4wd +all that malarky cause ive only got a 1.6 escort at the mo!i just want to see my options first before i commit to nething.cheers for all the replies guys.

Practicality wise.. you will be supprised to hear that the MR2 Turbo is better than the Supra... For starters there is loads more luggage space than the Supra.. as it has a boot which is only about 6 inches deep!

MPG you should get more from the MR2 as well... and Parking is a dream in the tubby...

Only down side is the stiffer ride...

IMHO

the ride quality is a major factor as ive lowered my escort and the quality is pretty poor, tried bell direct,WOW they are very cheap,i got decent quotes at the moment and im not 25 yet, means i cud get the supra tt sooner than i think.(presuming thats what i go for) :D any advice when im looking for tt??whats the stats for them?

All three cars are SO different.

The GT4 is a rear scooby beater. The Soop is a Motorway muncher (the UK cars are fairly soft) and the MR2 is a rapid point a squirt car.

I've got the MR2 and it does me fine for room (I've managed 2 week holidays out of it) and have had MR2's for over 4 years now.

The Soop aint that gerat for room, but boy do they shift. Just need to spend about 3k on good suspension and I'd get one (if I could afford it).

GT4 is the best al round, 4 seats, big boot, rapid as anything. But not the proper RWD experiance, not that it matters after a Frod ..
