1993 Supra Sz Aerotop......

Hi Guys,

Hope someone can help a fellow Toccer out a bit.

I'm looking to "upgrade" the Cynos to a Supra

i'm looking at a 1993 3L N/A SZ Aerotop. I know little about Supras so i was wondering what to look out for apart from the usual.

i'm getting more details monday but the asking price is 2700

also whats the running costs like on the Supras?

It's very cheap, there may be a reason why or you may just have come across a bargain.

Ask if the seller has a Jap auction sheet for the car, these can tell you a lot, specifically the auction grade it was given. These run from 1 to 5 with 5 being the highest condition and usually only given to cars with a few thousand miles and near new condition. Best grades we tend to see coming into the ports are 4 and sometimes 3.5

I have a 96 NA SZ Tagra Top and I love it!! I paid a bit more than 2.7k but im more than happy with it. The Tagra top is a great extra (altho admittedly not quick to remove and not designed for fuel economy). Being Auto is perfect and running costs arent that bad. Insurance for me was fine (28, 8yrs pncd). A TT would have been nice but there are pros and cons to both and im more than happy with mine.

At that price you can afford to repair any small issues. The only thing I would say is theres probably a reason its that cheap?

Thanks, i've passed n that one for now - i didn't really get a good feeling from the seller....

I'll keep my eyes peeld for another one - i'm loving the mkiv's at the mo...
