Interesting, yes. I think the data on the Think! car is not 100% correct if my Norwegian colleague is to be believed. Think was designed & developed in Norway before Ford bought the company. They then decided to export the whole production, some 200+ cars to the USA where, as you all know, there is a huge market for small environmentally friendly cars! Not surprisingly none were sold. Ford said they were going to scrap them. The Norwegians created a stink and they were shipped back to Norway where they are now available for leasing. Production has ceased. If this is not correct then I sit corrected!

It's hardly surprising that sales of gas guzzlers has increased. Disposable income has risen and people can afford these ghastly cars. And, as usual, our government has done nothing about it.

On the plus side, my small town of Fordingbridge now boasts three Priuses, my Mk1 and two of the new model. That must give us one of the highest quantity of Priuses per percentage of a town population in the country! Not bad for a relatively un-green area where we still have limited recycling via plastic bags.
