Has anybody ever had to re-gas their aircon and have an idea of the cost.

Sorry this is for a non toyota (Mercedes C280 sport) which i am toying with buying.

it's priced due to the amount of refrigerant gas that is used to refill it, so not usually a standard price. You pay for how much you need.

Regassing usually works out at somewhere in the £50 ish region, but obviously this assumes that the system as a whole doesn't need attention.

There are specialist AirCon Centres all over the place now, so probably better off going to one of those rather than a dealer.

Thanks Rich. Spoken to dealer since and he says about £70.
