Today I had a Water Pump fitted at a Toyota main dealer it cost £318 they found the Timing belt had moved over and worn away the belt covers; because the Guide had not been refitted- by a so called expert Toyota specialist :angry: who works from St Johns in our town, Worcester- who fitted the new belt earlier this year So another belt was fitted -as the edge of the other belt was scrubbed.

When I checked the new pump the new pump body was re-fitted to the old body so I went back to ask and was told that is the practice as it is much more expensive to fit a complete new pump so just the new impellor body was fitted and that cost £57? Cheers. Jim
