Power Window Problem- 94 Camry

94 Camry. Passenger power window slowly opened on its own while driving and now will not close. I can hear the motor briefly trying to close it when I push the controls, but then silence. Window seems to be farther down in door than normal and I am thinking that it is off the track or somehow disconnected from the closing mechanism.

1. How difficult is it to get the interior door panel off to investigate? I see about 4-5 screws. Will that do it? Any tricks?

2. What is the liklihood that I may find a fixable mechanical problem once I get in there?
