i got both manuals for 86-93 models by Haynes & by Chilton..

Chilton's is better :thumbsup:

sorry i was refering to 94 - onwards

My Haynes manual is for 86-99 Celicas...

it cover GT4? turbo - 4wd etc?

if so - do u have the manual number handy?

or will it be syncros...? it only crunches when changing down from third to second... do i need a whole new box, or does anyone thing the clutch replacement will fix this? thanks again

its the old rubber bushes mate you can up grade then to new roller bearing ones for £13.00

and can get them from e bay from a guy in kent takes half a hour to fit (i hope this helps)

I'm sure he appreciates it mate, but have you noticed this thread is 2 1/2 years old!!! :D Still, he may not have sorted it yet!!

this thread is old .. and it's usually the syncro's. Known problem on 3s-g(t)e gearboxes .. the syncro's in 2nd are usually the first to go as they are soft (brass I believe).
