Help With Recording Dj Sessions

Ok people so my Numark Decks are on their way out to me from the UK. when they arrive here though I want to be able to record my sessions onto my PC, or onto my minidisc and then transfer it to my PC. Does anybody have any idea how to do this? (so I can at least have a rough idea for when they arrive) Or how it may be possible shall we say :P

Aye, you need audio in card, dont know if this is supported due to the audio card some other kind of card.. my tv card used to be able to record sound becuase it had audio in L and R, so you could plug like a dvd player in :)

I've only got the standard 3 jacks on my soundcard...headphone, mic and the other one...

You should have line-in and mic on your soundcard try either of those, one will work better depending on whether or not the line out from whatever you are recording is amplified or not.

Then get sony sound forge or something similar and record the sound in

I've got sound forge already, use it for music editing. Will give it a try, thanks for your help

get to maplins or similar and buy a phono to mini jack lead.

phono out from your mixer and mini jack into your soundcard line-in or mic input.

only be mono though.
