I'm not going to argue on any of the points... its been 7 or 8 years since i was last in telecoms...

but i thought there were lots of specifics about RF, frequencies, power etc that allowed these things to be legal - but i cant be sure...

and hell, if they are crap quality, why bother ;)

but surely a wired ones perfect quality as no interference? as if you send the signal at the right frequency you receive it on it wont get muddled inbetween?

Yep but the bit rate of a radio signal is poor due to the limited bandwith available. So even if you had no interference you will only get what you send which is around 96Kbps I think?
