Nurburg is approaching fast, So i've been busy spending my hard earned; to get the tubby look more appealing.

So first to go was the wheels. (which I've always hated from buying the car 3 years ago.)

so out with the old:

Are those as hard to fit as i've been led to believe?

Fancied them as one of my 1st mods (along with wheels/suspension)

As Jesus said they don't take much fitting. The hardest part was assembling them in the first place! There's 1 stage that almost seems impossible to do and I nearly lost my temper with a big pair of pliers in my hand! :ffs:

Just noticed youve even got the same tyres as me... :)

Great combination. Light wheels and grippy tyres.

I take it yours are 17" all round though???

Yep Toyo T1-r's and 17" all round. 235's on the rear and 215's on the front B)

Got them this morning.

And yes the first stage is very hard, so hard infact i've lost my temper and virtually destroyed the plastic bits on the adjusters

before:

quick tip: place in the boiling water and then try to put them on or else this might happen

after:

there easy to fit on the biggers ones but on the main headlights it so tight it's damn fiddly (why cant they be metal instead of plastic!!!!)

With your OZ's did you buy some wheelspacers for the rear?

as the only offset I could find is 40 which is apprently universal and the only size.

They look fine really

But I must have OCD becuase they seem to be just a tad to negative at the rear for my liking.

but the fronts are spot on.

LOL! It's not just me then! I didn't mangle them that bad but they are a nightmare to assemble.

I'm running 40 offset all round on mine.

Fronts are 17x7J ET40 with 215/40/17

Rears are 18x8J ET40 with 245/35/18

What width wheel are you running on the rears? If you're running less than 8, then I'd say that would be why.

8j's or is it 7.5j's its to cold to go outside and find out :P

As I said there not that bad they just look like there slighty further into the arch than the fronts.

Wheelbase are giving me some 5mm spacers.

I rekon that's more than enough to fill the arch
