Please can anyone help with the location & colour wire that I need to disconnect /cut to dissable the speed sensor to my TNS 200 ? So as my passenger can input a destination whilst on the move.

Car is an Avensis 2 ltr CDX 2001 model. :help:

So looking at the document on there you just need to clip the violet/white wire going into the unit. Is the speed wire ONLY to determine whether to disable the TNS controls or would it have any bearing on how it actually works? Looking at the install of the unit the cabling looks like a nightmare for a new install, I wonder how much a dealer would charge in labour.

BTW I have the same model as you Roy!
