Creaking Noises From Suspension

Hi

I have a 2005 Avensis, since I have had it I have intermittently heard creaking noises from the suspension when i go over speed bumps or sharp bumps on road. I also sometimes hear this same creaking noise coming from below the car when I close the front doors. I asked my garage to have a look at it but they said the couldnt find anything wrong with it. It is easier to hear at night when roads are quiet and there isnt as much outside noise. Can anybody please help me.

If it's not a 'metel on metal' creak I'd think it's probably just the rubber bushes squeeking on the lower wishbone assembly (if the front) or the lower arms/radius rod (if the rear). Spraying these assemblies with some form of rubber lubricant will solve or isolate the the problem.
