Tsport Vs Zetec S

Hey Guys, quick question.

Ive got myself a TSport and a lad from work has a Fiesta Zetec S (chipped "twice" apparently).

Whats faster cos he keeps yammering on about how hes "destroyed" a TSport before

It depends who's driving them! And if its in a straight line etc etc! Just take it to a strip and race him! Then take it to a track and time each other!

zetec s are crap. as said take it to santapod (e.g. dont be a smacktard and race him up the local duelcarrageway) anyway, my TS beat about 3 new ST150 fiestas at santapod :)

They're probably those 2p resisitors you see on eBay for £3.99... 'MASSIVE PERFORMANCE UPGRADE' . The chips are crap, the cars crap and yours isn't simple as that.

If it's a 1.6, it's got a 0-60mph of 9.9sec and top speed of 114mph. You've won.

yeah... im prety doubtful he has 2 chips... he does seem to talk a load of ?+?+ sometimes.

but seein as I dont know anythin about chippin cars etc... why is it so unlikely he has 2 chips? its just to shut him up more than anything

A real 'chip' is typically a piggy back programmable unit that intercepts the appropriate inputs and outputs to do with fuel and air and 'remaps' them to a more optimal setting ...

I went out on my dinner and checked his dials... which funnily enough only goes to 140

Unless he's changed his gear ratio's that impossible. Even with the gear ratio's changed and a lot of mods done to add bhp I dont think it'd get much over 130. But dont know much about Fiesta's to be honest.

Lets keep this sensible ..

1. It's a Fiesta.

2. Video of a speedo is NOT proof (esp a Ford one).

3. It may be quicker, but it's still a Ford.

Fords are like fat girls .. both fun for a ride until you mates see you in one.

(and 145 ha ha ha, an NA MR2 with 170+bhp will only *just* do that, and it's a LOT more aerodynamic)

My friend has an 03 Zetec S and he has a £35 quid chip from eBay on it, he rats the ubik out of it, going through the country roads i can easily keep up with him, just dont have the power to overtake, and i have a 1.3 SR so i think any good T sport owner would easily have one!

Thats just my 2 pence lol!
