How To Remove 1st/2nd Gear Boost Limit?

i've been well busy over the last few months sorting out the zetec turbo for my other car, so the starlet turbo conversion had been put on hold, however, i'm nearly finished repairing the loom now so it won't be long until i fit the new engine (can't wait!)

anyway, was wondering how i can remove the boost limiter from 1st and 2nd gear, if someone could throw a diagram up it would be appreciated.

also, what would you people say a safe boost limit is for daily driving? the engine will be standard apart from a decat and front mount intercooler conversion (no bonnet vent)

cheers

Ian

If its standard turbo, then there isn't any point going past 12 psi as thats the limit for the standard turbo and the ECU stops fuelling over that.

cheers mate, i was thinking about 12psi anyway. i can get hold of a FCD for right money but was wanting to make sure what the engine would take safely
