2006 Yaris Suspension Conversion Help

Hi guys,

Does anyone know how to take out the front struts of the new 2006/07 Yaris?? Im trying to change my springs to some sport springs (1.5" lower, 15% firmer - custom) and am stuck on the fronts..

Reason being is its not the conventional Toyota front strut with those 3 bolts on the strut top.

These are the bolts I need to get loose...

- 2 main bolts that hold the strut to the hubs.

- 1 nut that connects the hub/swaybar to the middle of the strut (like a control rod)

- 1 bolt that holds the brake line to the strut.

EASY

Now the issue

On the strut tower those typical 3 bolts on the strut brace is not there from the factory. There appears to be the typical centre bolt that holds the shock to the strut top but thats it..

Whats going on??? Is there a trick with the big rubbery plate I need to undo??

Help. Anyhelp would be fantastic

Cheers

Dave
