360 Windows Media Connect - Help

Been trying for a bit now and getting no where so thought I would ask.

I'm setting up my xbox with my pc (both wireless through router) so I can see my pics and watch some movies on my TV rather than my monitor.

I have downloaded all the stuff they have said and media connect wont authorize my xbox - there is also no media connect installed in the control panel and in the startup menu the program icon does naff all.

So any ideas folks what's going on?

Error message - "An error has accurred while attempting to authorise your xbox 360 with use with windowsd media connect"

BTW the xbox is legit

:help:

update - sorted it out, just can't view/stream videos (using XP not media) so trying to sort that out now

*Have disabled firewall to and xbox connects to live fine

---------------------------------------

video has now been sussed and needs to be in .WMV and not any other format as it wont be picked up and it needs to be added to the media player library. So now i can watch any .wmv film on my pc through my xbox and on my tv :D

You can do this : http://www.tweaktown.com/articles/1002/

but hopefully microsoft will enable all video codec and not just there ****ty one
