I had an '81 metro for my first car (in '99) and it didn;t have a spot of rust on it, all original paint too.

It was still boring as hell! replaced with a 1300 MG metro, a bit rusty but good fun, with that added fun factor of knowing "it was only £250" if I wrecked it!

Look forward to watching the vid when I get in from work!

Aaaah! Top Gear of old, when they had proper presenters test driving proper cars. :D
