Brackets On Rear Door

I'm the new owner of a 1995 Rav4, Black, 3 door in excellent shape and I love it, a credit to its previous owners.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the brackets on the inside of the back door are for?

I know the handbook will tell me but it is missing, I have one on order.

Does your rav have sunroofs?

If so, they can be taken out and the brackets are used to store them.
