Thinking About This Kit....

If a layer of fibreglass is sandwiched between the kit and the original panels around the joints, then filled, it shouldnt crack.

The only problem then is replacing panels after a bump.

Russ

Seems like a good reason to drive carefully then

But also mash anyone that bumps you :ffs:

NIPPON, you said that your nieghbour has to go over spped bumps slow, has he ever hit anything and damaged the kit?

I wouldn't want to pay all that money for something that breaks everytime you go up a ramp.

There's a pretty mean slope to get into my work carpark.....

Also, do you reckon I could just get a front numberplate, like the one pictured, made at a sign-sticker shop? Or does it have to be specially made i.e. reflective.

Cheers.

As far as I know he's never damaged it, and his driveway has quite a bad slope on it.....but as I said his car is seriously low......

Then again he hasn't got his kit blended in although with quality of the fit it doesn't need to be, I spoke to the guy who fitted it and he said it was a b :censor: d to fit, took about 3 weeks to get everything to line up correctly before it was painted, but it was worth it....looks like a factory built motor !!!

As for the numberplate, I should imagine most plate companies would be able to make you one up, I personally wouldn't stick it to the body work tho' and yes I would imagine it would have to be reflective just like a standard plate. They must be fairly easy to get I've seen loads of MX5s with stick on plates like that.

So, you put your order in yet then ?
