Underated Bands..

Just going thru my Winamp list and I think the live Marillion stuff is amazing.

I think if they weren't living in the shadow of Queen in the 80's they would have been so much bigger!

Anyone here have bands that they think should have been massive?

OK ....after a bit of head scratching-

Melissa Etheridge - seen her live (quite) a few years ago, supporting Byran Adams and she really rocked.

and secondly

Stone Temple Pilots - dogged by bad luck, in the shadow of Pearl Jam but a great sound.

Pearl Jam are my fav band.. was the band of my era.. got some Stone Temple Pilots stuff but thought he was trying to be Eddie Vedder too hard!

I know these are probably a lot newer than you were thinking but The Zutons & The Fratellis should be far bigger than they are, they're excellent bands, still time for things to change though
