97 Avalon...good Buy?

I am thinking about getting myself a 97 avalon XL for 3400. it has 163K on it. I just wanted to know what people think about the car? Is it a good price? The interior is clean. The engine bay is clean. I am going to test drive it this week and have my mechanic take a look at it before i buy it...of course.... The car is in good condition. I check on KBB and it is listed for 3400 for Fair condition and at NADA the lowest is 4100. YES I KNOW ITS A YOTA....but still i'd rather just ask Thanks for the responses...
