hi i am going to change my 2001 51 plate avensis vermont and was wondering if it is straight forward or do you have to have them coded once fitted if so how much is it.

any coms much appreciated

If replacing with exactly the same engine then it wont need any sort of 'coding' it should fire up fine.

I would find it pretty straight forward but then again i work at a dealership - if you dont have any/much experience with cars it maybe better getting it done elsewhere.
