Rollover Bars

I see there's a bit of a debate about rollover bars but needless to say I love the look and if I'm going to die what better way than at speed upside down in my roadster. However before I can tempt this fate, does anyone have experience of fitting them, i think I may need a template to cut access holes in the trim, I just dont know, please help.
