Urgent Help , Please.

Ok guys I am having the Rav MOT'd tomorrow , it is a Rav4 , 4.1 , year 2000 , mileage 47,000 .

The bloke said he would check everything and do a safety check first . Then it should fly through the MOT test.

Are there any other things we should mention to keep it in tip top condition and even improve things ?

I was thinking about an oil change , and maybe air filter and oil filter change ?

We had NEW spark plugs about 15 months ago - do they need changing ?

ALso what about the leads to the plugs ( name escapes me) is it worth getting new ones?

Any thoughts on anything mentioned above OR any other suggestions ?

I am hopeless with cars so any advice will be appreciated !

Thanks.

I think the plugs will be ok as its low mileage. At just 8 years old, there shouldn't be much - perhaps a look at the exhaust and its hangers; a check of the suspension bushes which the MOT would find probably if they are perished. Have you emptied the ash-tray? :D
