Does the Prius body shape still stand out and get noticed? (As the motoring press seem to always write about the cars shape)

I briefly saw one today in town as it was driving around a corner, I hadn't noticed it until it had started to drive away. I guess I was walking around with my brain in neutral which is probably not unusual for me.
