Yes this is a curious omission. If you drive on dirty roads lots of crap collects at the front of the wheelarch and the racket from stones and stuff is irritating. Too much cost cutting?

Other issues for me are the lack of illumination for some of the switches and the daft arrangment for operating trip/mpg computer. I have a mk2 golf which has a far better arrangement and it is 18 years old.

Still think the yaris is a good wee car.
