Mr2 Wheels

I reckon you could safely fit 17"s with 215/45x17's on. The offset would be quite important aswell which I'm not to sure about for the MR-2, sorry. My guess would be around the 35 mark, but this you would have to confirm.

Cheers, Bill.

Sorry guys but,

anything bigger than a 16 just looks wrong on a '2' plus there is the old handling issue,

which i know doesn't bother most folks, all depends on why you bought a 2 in the first place...

just my opinion but i wouldn't go bigger than a 16 although you can fit 18's on no problem with right offset etc.

Hey got 18's on mine and they actually don't look it, it isn't lowered yet but will be, had to fit spacers to get the wheels i wanted though so please please please CHECK THE OFFSET before choosing! lol. Still looks mint though and handles fine though there is some tram-lining, it's acceptable, still as previously stated by others if you want a real road machine, 16's probably are the way forward

Heres mine on 18" Work Equips. Realy depends on your bodykit aswell, I think if I had small wheels on mine it would look odd I think. Also Im on the lowest setting on the front cusco coilovers which meant the wheel arches needed the lip shaved off for the wheels to fit, the back coilovers still have some adjustment left so might lower the back some more -
