04 Corolla Tsport

Hi everyone hope you can help! Had an 04 plate corolla TSPORT for just over a year fantastic car but it has developed a single knock when setting off from a junction, i did'nt know if it could be a little movement from the brake pads or discs after use approching the junction.

Any ideas would be greatfully recieved.

you know what mine does that in the morning when i first start it up and pull off, just a single knock! its fine all day then.

havent got a clue what it is, maybe its just a common snitch on them :(

Are you applying the handbrake at a junction? Could be the handbrake shoes locking up...?

Any idea where the knock is coming from?

That noise is the sound of the ABS calibrating itself and is quite normal

Hi no i'm not applying the handbrake,it sounds like its coming from the front but i'm not sure where. It only happens once everytime i set off from a standing start i don't get anything when changing gear.
