How To Connect Cd Player Tm4410

In my 2001 corolla I have the factory fitted cassette player and seriously need a cd player in there. I have a Tm4410 toyota/panasonic cd unit which i would lik e to fit in but how do i connect it?.

I took off one of the plug of the tape player and put it inside Tm4410 cd unit it turned on and was working but not through the dash unit.

How can i connect both together so i can control it from the dash unit?

I just bought a 2000 Corolla and wanted to replace the stereo but would like the dash unit to work with it.

Would a stereo with a remote control or bullet connection work with it?

I havent even removed the old one yet because the radio is better than nothing :)

Edit: Never mind. Found a few links that helped out. Prob gonna fit the stereo into the dash Pod. Just need something to replace the !Removed! old tape deck above my ashtray haha.
