Tyre Pressure

I recently purchased a 2002 Toyota Avensis 1.8 GS VVTI, the Toyota dealer sold the car with brand new 16'' CDX alloys with 205 x 55 x 16 tyres. I was advised by the dealer that the tyre pressure will remain the same

as what listed in the owners manual 15'' alloys = 32psi front and rear, is that correct ?

It depends on what speed and load you drive, but around the 32 mark is quite common for all large family cars.

My Avensis has the reccomended pressures on a sticker in the glove box.

As long as you're not planning on driving over 100mph I think the pressures are the same regardless of tyre (just as jamesholden says, for my 98 avensis it's 32psi all round up to 100mph).

Yep can also confirm - I have these wheels / tyres and 32 psi all round is correct.
