I was thinking of getting one of these (great prive on ebay) but I was wondering has anyone had any experience of these? Also, is the install easy? I have a standard size toyota audio stereo in now, would it be as easy as taking out the old, swapping the wires etc? On the sony site it says that there are no adapters etc needed for my car (jap starlet, 93)

Thanks!

Not sure whether you'll have the right adapter if its a jap car.

If not you can get a little adapter from Halfords (think about £4) that you can set the original wires to, then anytime you change the stereo you just unplug it and plug the new one in...

Well, I was worried there for a bit about the possibility that the jap starlets may be differently wired, but I found the wiring diagram at www.installdr.com, and it matches. The wires and connectors are the same. These connectors are the standard type, aren't they? Or will they require that wiring harness?

Thanks
