No Overdrive 93 Diesel Surf

lost overdrive recently manual i have for 3lt diesel hilux covering years 88 - 97 appears to cover different automatic box and i am unsure where the overdrive solenoid is on my box, which i suspect is causing fault .. eng. is 3.0 1kz-te

the manual i have from library is gregorys hi-lux 1988-1997 issue 514. would appreciate any help as there is a difference in where they say overdrive solenoid is and my box

fixed it !! wasnt solenoid ,, faulty ecu electrical tracking inside cleaned with cotton bud and hey presto! hope it lasts as new unit cost $1700 and 18 days del and forget 2nd hand and auto boys as no joy there -- hope this may help others with simmilar prob ,,and fingers crossed ----wouldnt mind some feed back from anyone else whos tried this type of fix and whats chances of it lasting
