Fix For Rasping Rattle From Cat Heat Shield

Hi, the heat sheild on my cat has be rasping and rattling for awhile now. Apart from buying a new

one is there any good bodge fixs for it? Was temped to cut the dame thing off with a dremal but

might not be a good idea

I'm sure I saw one recently which had that heat protection silver tape used instead ?

its only fitted to avoid fires when parking in long grass , cut it off .

Ya thorght it might be something like that, i`ll cut it off then, can always wrap heat tape round it if the floor of the car starts to heat up (:
