Your "jellified oil" is actually referred to as sludge. It is very common in modern cars specifically diesels and is a result of a number of factors but dealt with through the use of correct oil grades for the car in question and regular oil changes.

Now you oil may have only been changed 3 months ago but how frequently was it done before that????. The diesel Estima requires the oil to be changed every 3000 miles. If it is not the sludge starts to build up and then next time you changed the oil, the clean oil partially disolves this and starts pumping it around the engine. Then shortly afterwards as the new oil combined with this dissolved slude starts getting further contaminated with bypass from the cylinders you end up with what you have.

A knackered engine.

Good luck.
