Moderators Salary Scale To Be Increased By 23%

Bizarra informed me that the salaried income of moderators is to be increased by an inflation busting 23% from 1 May 2009. Expense claims for miles travelled is also being raised to £1.90 a mile to cover petrol costs of going to the JAE, another informer was quoted as saying (allegedly a name that sounds like ballyhigh)

Frankly, I find this astonishing. In the climate where many of our fiends and members...or is it friends and members... are struggling to pay the mortgage and pay the credit card bills, there are people here benefitting grossly. It is an English national scandal which should be stamped upon by Mr Darlings budget.

If you don't want to support this, then vote with yer feet - gie them a kicking!!!

Right number, wrong way round ;) it is 32% and I think that is more than fair as I have awarded myself a 50% increase on my current salary With JAE coming up we deserve the increase to make up for all the extra work involved

It was an interesting look at a once-in-a-lifetime moment in which the devils mark came to TOC..... that's not drivel it's a momentous event!

He is my master after all.... I have to occasionally mention his mark when it arises.... he pays me double TOC does for moderation.
