Motor show comes to The Trafford Centre

The Trafford Centre is now able to exclusively announce that the motor show is coming to the Centre in August 2007 for what is expected to become an annual event at The Trafford Centre, and a major pull for Greater Manchester.

The event was finalised this morning by organisers from Motorshow@ who will be responsible for pulling in some of the biggest names in the motoring world. Some prestigious car brands have already signed and more are expected to express interest this week. Motorshow@ is still taking bookings from interested dealerships.

It is the intention that Motorshow@ The Trafford Centre will be the largest motor show in the region, starting on August 9th and continue through to Sunday 12th. Celebrity and motoring expert Quentin Willson is the name and face of the Motorshow@ brand and will launch the event on the opening day with a VIP bash:

“Motorshow@ The Trafford Centre represents the first flowers of change in car retailing where car dealers are bringing cars to the people. This is a very significant moment in car retailing as more and more people will choose to buy their cars this way.”

The event is free of charge and will welcome not just car enthusiasts but all members of the family for the chance to browse or buy.

There is something planned for everyone, including retailer activity in line with the show as well as on stage entertainment for women and children if the men are getting a bit too involved with the fantastic range of cars!

Says Gordon McKinnon, Director of Operations at The Trafford Centre: “The Trafford Centre is delighted to welcome Motorshow@ to the Centre for the first time.

We hope that it will mark the start of a strategic partnership, and that together we can make this an annual event of major significance to the North West as a whole, and to the Manchester city-region in particular
