Build 'quality'

I have had my iQ since April 2010. I have found the build quality to be very poor with the dashboard rattling like a 20 year old citroen! I have taken the car back to the dealer who tried to solve the rattle only to add to the quantity and noise of the rattles. Now the car has to go in for a total strip down at some point!!! The dealer assures me they had cured it on the first inspection but there is nothing wrong with my hearing and when covering 500 miles a week in it, I know my own car.

Does anyone have similar issues or am I just unlucky? :crybaby:

Matt

There are some weird sound coming from the back sometimes when I accelerate...

Other than that there is no obvious problem :)

That's where the wife spills her coffee :yahoo:

Ours has an annoying rattle in the passenger-side door pillar. It seems to emanate in or around the seatbelt anchor but it's clearly inside the cavity. I think Mr. T can fix it quickly enough but it's a bane having to take time off to put the car in to the workshop. Another day maybe...

What issues do you have with the mpg? I just bought an IQ, covered 300 miles and I'm getting consistently 53-55mpg combined
