Air Con Pipe Coupling

Anyone dismantled their air con pipes. I can see some sort of coupler to join two pipes.

Are they easy to dismantle

Haven't attempted it altho I need to replace most of it on my Previa - but as the weather is so awful here then not a lot of point!
