F I A Round 12 : Hockemheim Germany

Panasonic Toyota F1 like the rest of the F1 paddock is going into this weekend’s German Grand Prix not really knowing what’s in store for them, as since the F1 circus last visited Germany the circuit has undergone major redesign. The circuit owners have looked at a lot of the other venues that paddock visit throughout the season and have used many similar ideas into making Hockemheim even more exciting to drive.

That according to a lot of team chief race engineers means a completely different approach to this weekend’s German Grand Prix. The changes that have been made to the circuit mean a completely different set-up to and may-be strategy that have been previously used before.

2002 F1 World Champion Michael Schumacher and his younger brother Ralf had a fantastic battle for the 1st place on the front slot of the grid ahead of tomorrows German Grand Prix. Only 0.181 separated to two brothers as Michael stole pole back in the dieing second of the session. Mean while the two Toyotas of McNish and Salo start 17th and 19th. After another disappointing qualifying session witch started quite promising.
