Having said that, for the money it’s not bad.

The amount of regen during braking is a joke compared to the auris. When slowing on the slip road the auris recharges the battery quicker.

Joke?

Really?

I supposed difficult to compare in my case as my Auris is 2012 and the Yaris is 2017...

My Auris is 1.8L with 130+ bhp

Is Yaris 1.5L with 120+ bhp?

I noticed the following on Yaris:

1. Much MUCH better mpg

2. Can drive higher speeds/power in EV mode only (did about 37mph on motorway in EV)

3. Switching on heating STAYS in EV

4. Car starts in EV for a while

I assume the NEW Auris would just be as good (slightly less due to bigger car)?

Although i WAS looking for a Yaris initially....i do like the bigger Auris I got now

But if i was looking for a similar replacement now, i probably go for the new Yaris (got as much leg room front/back, boot + spare wheel as my 2012 Auris!) but still do NOT like that traditional auto gear stick!

I was going by the cost of the Yaris hybrid was starting around 15,000 compared to 20,000 for the Auris.

After driving a 2013 Yaris and my 2010 Auris for 2 years. Still prefer the Auris, but if the Yaris would have been in stock when I was looking.

Last year I had a late 2016 Yaris for a curtesy car and there wasn’t much difference between the 2013 one we have.

One killer feature Toyota has dropped is the rear view camera displayed in the mirror. Easier to view than looking down at the radio.

Is it?

U mean just from Yaris?

As my 2012 Auris has rear camera view in radio...

My Auris doesn't have the touch and go, plain old style radio. I can see the rear camera without looking down :)

Show off [emoji12]
I don’t reset the average, so it gives me my long term average. For my short commute I have had a few excellents with the full bars.
Helps not coming to a complete stop.

Do you go on the m62 past milnrow?
If so when you going downhill between saddleworth and milnrow, you should notice with cruise control at 70, the power needle should be at zero. The magic bit where your just generating what you are using. [emoji2]

If they had direct led replacements then I might be tempted to change them.

For me the standard ones are fine for me.

Saturday night we were at the Fishermans retreat in Ramsbottom and coped fine with the main beam to cope with the narrow farm track.
