I have a Japanese import Yaris 2022 model.

Model ID: 17TDT1JP-CA31

Audio: 1419

I am kindly asking the below questions to whoever may know:

1. Is there any update on that?
2. can the EU firmware be istalled instead of the JP?

3. I am trying to setup MyToyota app (or MyT app). For registration to the app, it requests the 17 letter VIN, where my Toyota (Japanese import) has a 14 letter frame no, or a 16 letter model no (including "-").

The My Toyota app will not work with a car jdm car as it needs an active/registered DCM

Your radio is a JDM radio from past experience the updates are region-locked and locked to that model i only have UK/EU updates and some for the non eu corolla

 

but you are welcome to try it at your own risk
