2006 Yaris gauge weirdness

So we’ve got a 2006 Yaris, brilliant little car, last couple of days though speedo and all the gauges go to maximum on start up and stay there! Sometimes sorts itself after turning it on/ off a couple of times but sometimes just stays there. Any ideas? I’ve read lots about gauges going blank or not reading out at all but this is a weird one. Any help or ideas greatly appreciated

Can you take a picture and post when it next happens please.

Have you had a new Battery recently or had it 'jump started'? Is there any history with the car? (service and accident damage)

It's more than likely a iffy plug on the back of the cluster unplug it and plug it back in

sometimes slapping the top of the dash works 😉
