Hesitation fault

Evening all

I have a 2001 Landcruiser Colorado 3.0D which has developed a fault. Upon start up it will hesitate badly (you will feel it trying to pick up but holding back) and then after about 10 miles or so the EM light will come on. I pull over, turn it off and restart, the light will go out and the vehicle will drive perfectly.

I have had it plugged in and get fault codes P1228, P1520 and P1556.

I have replaced the brake light switch as the cheapest option to start but has made no difference.

Any suggestions gratefully received
