Solar charger for my Yaris hybrid 2021. Advice please.

I went with the AA solar charger plugged into OBD2. I plug it in when I park in the driveway and unplug before starting car the next time I'm going somewhere. I haven't had any issues so far

I purchased a solar charger from Amazon that plugs in to the OBD socket. We went on holiday in May for 2 weeks and parked at the airport. I plugged in the solar charger just before I locked the car. O

Next step cover up solar panel or alternatively check at night to see if solar charge light is still on if it is then you need to fit a blocking diode.

I sugest using a schotty diode one rated at 4 to 6  amps

I fitted mine inside a plug but you can use a joint box.

Halfords 20 watt solar charger is for connecting directly to the Battery.

They offer a ODBII port adaptor but it for lower wattage panels and its at extra charge £.
