Thanks for the update,

Was the boot release working before ?, can you hear the boot solenoid when opening the car or using the lock/unlock button in the car, unlock the car with the physical key in the lock

fold the back seats down and make sure the nothing is trapped in the lock

You’re welcome, and no I can’t hear it unlock and there is no electric to it when the guy that fixed the car not turning on issue he showed me some codes that is related to the ecu and one of the codes was “position sensor for tailgate is faulty. An invalid signal exists” that’s what it says.

i will have to look it up

SRS Module do you have a part number, it should have the MCU with combined EEprom/flash (Renesas H8SX) it can be done over OBD2 or on the bench

Tail gate can you get in the boot to the latch connector and check for power on the 3 pin plug when you push the lock/unlock button, centre pin is negative

Hey, just following this amazing thread, how did you manage to resolve all your issues and did you manage to sort it all out,

And also where is the pyro fuse location?

Did you manage to reset the airbag ecu ?

If so where did you get done.

I want to buy a accident damged hybrid Toyota as a project.

Your help will ge greatly appreciated.
