Has the warranty period on OEM batteries changed?

My C-HR needed a jump start yesterday (stuck in a supermarket car park) so called out the AA.  Before giving my car some volts, the Battery was tested  and the AA man told me that it needed replacement.  He didn't try to sell me a Battery and he said that Toyota had extended the warranty period on OEM batteries to 5 years.  He showed me the missive that had come down from AA HQ supporting this.  I don't know when this change came into effect. All good news but has anyone actually had their newer-than-five-years-old Battery replaced by a Toyota garage without quibble?

Yes.  One year old at first service, that was in March 21.

Rang main agents today and they didn't say yes and they didn't say no. Anyway, it's booked in for a test all day tomorrow. I'll report back on the outcome.
