That is brilliant news Immysl, I'm very pleased for you.

It is about the best outcome that could be hoped for really.

So it's good that the dealer played ball,as my great uncle Wilfred used to say,"things are a hell of a lot easier to get into, than to get out of"

Mind you,he never bought anything more expensive than a second hand Rudge Whitworth bicycle in 1959 for £4 10s 6d.

Aye, and that was on the drip.

Main dealers always know how to sell something worth a lot less for a lot more.

He wasn't that bright though to be fair,he also said that "early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise"

He used to get up at 4am ,go to bed at 8 pm ,died of consumption at 47,skint, and thick as pig****.

Great news, a load off your mind - the dealer did the right thing, but I pity the next person who buys it, hopefully they will do something about cleaning all the rust up before selling it again.

Be sure to put some photos of your new Yaris up for us to see, will be nice to see what you have bought and an under bonnet photo of it, minus the rust, lol.

Finally got hold of the new car. I'll post some photos this weekend. It still had a few issues when collecting, but not any major ones. Mostly related to being an Approved Used car, so I'll create a separate topic for it.

Sorry, I forgot to say anything about it again. She's doing a lot better now. Just had a tough week before that, but now quite relieved. Thanks for asking :)

Good to hear that! A car can be replaced. A daughter can't.

Exactly, but I'm really glad that both of mine are now married and taken off my hands.

Two gobby Scousers can be a nightmare.

Glad to say that I got the refund + delivery fee for the car this week. Big relief and also the other car that I bought has been good so far. Hope everyone are having a good week :)
